JAMMU, Oct 20: Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rahul Yadav IAS, paid his respects at the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu today and took part in the special abhishek ceremony of Lord Venkateshwar. He offered his prayers for the welfare of the country, as this sacred ceremony takes place every Friday, where Lord Venkateshwar is anointed.
Commissioner JMC, Rahul Yadav IAS, expressed his joy at the presence of the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu. He described the temple as a source of delight and pride for the people of Jammu. This temple allows the residents of Jammu to experience the rich culture of South India, providing a heavenly feeling. He encouraged people to visit the temple and pay their respects.
Commissioner Yadav affirmed that the JMC is ready to provide any necessary assistance to the temple and its devotees. He lauded the temple's beautiful construction in the Majeen area. He also noted that the dedication of the Lord Venkateswara temple would promote spiritual tourism, contributing significantly to economic development and generating employment opportunities in the Union Territory.
The presence of the Tirupati Balaji Temple in Jammu signifies the cultural diversity and unity within India, allowing residents and visitors to partake in spiritual practices and traditions from different regions of the country.
