JAMMU, Oct 20: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has said that the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is keen to build up J&K on the lines of other developed states of the country.
In a statement issued to media persons, Kavinder highlighted the government’s dedication to ensuring that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have access to the same amenities and opportunities as those in other parts of the country.
He emphasized that the promise made by the Railways Minister to introduce Vande Bharat trains in the Valley is a clear signal of the government’s determination to bring Jammu and Kashmir’s development to new heights.
The introduction of Vande Bharat trains in the region will not only enhance the transportation infrastructure but also contribute to tourism growth and increased visitor numbers. Vande Bharat trains are renowned for their comfort and luxury, making them the preferred choice, especially among the youth and the elderly. Kavinder praised the Modi Government for its continuous efforts to improve the lives of the people in the Union Territory, focusing on safety, convenience, and contentment. He acknowledged that this initiative aligns with the broader vision of the Modi Government, which aims to elevate the standard of living in Jammu and Kashmir to be on par with other highly developed regions of India. By ensuring world-class amenities and infrastructure, the government is not only enhancing the quality of life for the people but also attracting more tourists to the picturesque region.
Kavinder expressed his optimism regarding the impact of the introduction of Vande Bharat trains in Jammu and Kashmir, believing that it will not only bring convenience and luxury to the residents but also boost tourism, ultimately contributing to the overall development of the region.
