Kathua police successfully reunites missing person with family

Kathua, Oct 20: Kathua Police achieved a heartwarming reunion by successfully locating and reuniting a missing individual with their family in the jurisdiction of PP Hatli.
According to the complainant, on May 15, 2023, a report was filed at PP Hatli regarding a missing person named Sher Ali, son of Murad Ali, residing in Thein, Tehsil & District Kathua. Consequently, a missing report was officially recorded in the daily diary of this police establishment under DDR No. 16, dated May 15, 2023. A search operation was promptly initiated to locate the missing individual.
On October 20, 2023, a diligent police team from PP Hatli, led by PSI Swaran Singh Manhas, the IC of PP Hatli, operated under the supervision of DySP Hqrs. Kathua, Sh. Manjeet Singh, and Insp. Sudhir Sadhotra, SHO PS Kathua.
Their unwavering efforts culminated in successfully tracing and locating the missing person. Subsequently, the missing report was officially closed on October 20, 2023.
After completing all necessary legal formalities, the reunited individual was lovingly handed over to their legal heirs. This reunification is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the Kathua Police in their efforts to serve the community and ensure the well-being and safety of its residents.
