New Delhi, Feb 5: Global pressure on its tacit support to terrorists seems to have come to naught as Pakistan reportedly hosted a meeting of terrorist groups in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The militant groups, including Jaish-e-Mohammed, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and Al-Badr, called for strengthening the jihad in Jammu and Kashmir. The diverse groups also agreed that armed struggle was the only way to “resolve” the conflict. The groups also asked the Pakistani government to release the 150 terrorists of the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jamaat-ud-Dawa, who were detained after the 26/11 attacks in Mumbai. Another demand made at the terror conclave was that Pakistan should revoke the ban on the Jamaat-ud-Dawa.
