DPS Udhampurconducts mass donation drive

UDHAMPUR, Oct 21: Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur has launched the "Muthi Bhar Khushiyan" mass donation drive to bring joy, love, and happiness to the less privileged sections of society. This initiative aims to light up Diwali for those who may not have the means to celebrate the festival of lights.
The donation drive, scheduled from October 20 to October 28, 2023, encourages students, staff, and stakeholders to contribute whatever they can to spread happiness. Items such as candles, diyas (lamps), lights, old decorations, crackers, sweets, food, old woolen clothes, bed sheets, and more can be donated during this week-long drive.
Dr. J. C. Gupta, the Honorable Pro Vice Chairman of the school, inaugurated the "EK Muthi Khushiyan" drive on October 21, 2023. He expressed his satisfaction with the contributions made by the school community for the welfare of fellow Indians. Mr. Vivek Gupta, the Managing Director of the school, and Ms. Sucheta Gupta, Director Academics, were pleased to see that the members of the school have embraced the value of "SHARING IS CARING."
Dr. Kunal Anand, the virtuous Principal of the school, encouraged the staff, students, and parents to donate generously for this noble cause. The culmination of this happiness drive is scheduled for October 28, 2023. The school believes in bringing smiles and joy to the less privileged as a way of giving back to the community.
