Jammu, Oct 22: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PP Chatha and PP Greater Kailash acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 11 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
09 vehicles i.e 06 dumpers bearing Registration Nos. JK08K-9868, JK02BX-0945, JK02CM-8172, JK02BG-8101, JK02BT-3077, PES6A95D320RS4000 and 03 excavators bearing Body Nos., PUNJM14ALN3178852, PUNJD14AXM3875554 and YQ15512538 by PP Chatha 02 vehicles i.e One Tipper bearing Registration No. JKO2CO/9296 and one Dumper bearing Registration No JK02CU/2425, by PP Greater Kailash DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The recoveries were made by I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh and I/C PP Greater Kailash PSI Puneet Sharma in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
