Amrit Kalash Yatra culminates at Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Oct 23: The District Headquarters Kishtwar witnessed an extraordinary display of unity and patriotism as the 'Amrit Kalash Yatra' culminated, celebrating the essence of 'Meri Maati Mera Desh.'
The event was marked by a series of significant moments that resonated deeply with the community under the close supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, here at Auditorium GDC Kishtwar.
Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar, Manoj Kumar in his address extended heartfelt welcome to all participants, shedding light on the remarkable events of the 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' program.
One of the pivotal moments of the day was the administration of the 'Panch Pran Pledge' by ACD Kishtwar.
The Amrit Kalash Yatra, originating from various Blocks and Municipalities within the District, culminated at the District headquarters, symbolizing the collective spirit of the region.
The most poignant moment of the day was the harmonious collection of 'Mitti' from various panchayats and Municipality wards of each block across the district, representing the unity and shared commitment of the people to their homeland.
The event was graced by the presence of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav as chief guest and SSP Kishtwar Khalil Ahmed Poswal as guest of Honour.
ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak,Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal, GM DIC Mohammad Ashraf, DDC member Nagseni Faisal Khan, President Municipal Council Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Najjar, DPO Kishtwar Sunil Bhutyal, ExENs, CEO Kishtwar Prehlad Bhagat, CMO Kishtwar Dr. M.Y Mir, PRIs and large number of school students participated the event.
The festivities celebrated the rich cultural diversity of the region. The festivities included captivating cultural program that featured the enthusiastic participation of school-going children viz a viz Group Dance by Perfect Dance studio, Bal vidya Bhawan Kishtwar and New Era Public High School, Patriotic song by Nidhi Aryan, Patriotic Group song by HSS Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kishtwar and Speech on Meri Maati Mera Desh by students of Islamia Faridia Hr. SEC School Kishtwar, Deffodil Model Public High School Kishtwar and SDM Public Hr. Sec. School on Meri Matti Mera Desh. The vibrant performances by prominent personalities and poets from Kishtwar added a dynamic touch to the event, evoking the true essence of 'Meri Maati Mera Desh'.
