| Cheating case solved by PP Hari Market Jammu, one accused arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 23: A written complaint was lodged at PP Hari Market by one lady namely Meena Gupta W/O Rajesh Gupta R/O Rajinder Bazar Jammu stating that on dated 13/10/2023 she went to J&K Bank ATM kiosk situated at Mandir Chowk Raghunath Bazar to withdraw money wherein one unknown person cheated her by exchanging her ATM card and managed to withdraw Rs 29000 from her account.
In this regard, case FIR No. 65/2023 U/S 420/IPC was registered at Police station City and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PP Hari Market led by SDPO North Sunil Kumar Kesar assisted by SHO PS City SI Mohinder Singh and I/C PP Hari Market PSI Vijay Kumar did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up one suspected person namely Mohd Rizwan S/O Mohd Luqman age 26 years R/O Saaj tehsil Thanamandi District Rajouri. During questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure 08 ATM cards of JK Bank and SBI Bank and 02 SIM Cards were recovered from his possession.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
