| Notorious criminal booked under PIT NDPS Act | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 26: An information was received at PS Akhnoor through reliable sources regarding one notorious Drug Peddler namely Vishram Das alias Tyagi Baba S/o Laxman Das R/o Jio pota Ghat ward no 06 Teh Akhnoor Distt. Jammu.
On this a special police team of PS Akhnoor led by s
Sho Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Lal Sharma raided at the suspected place and arrested the above said drug peddler.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused person was a notorious criminal and was involved in many cases of drug peddling and dealing in narcotics. Also a warrant of arrest was issued against the said accused by Divisonal commissioner Jammu.
Finally today in compliance to the directions of Divisonal commissioner Jammu, under Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1988 (PITNDPS) the accused person has been shifted to District Jail Kathua. |
