| Bukhari demands immediate clearance of snow from roads | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Feb 6-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth president and MLA Sangrama Basharat Bukhari has urged for immediate clearance of snow on all roads of Sangrama Constituency particularly in remote areas.
Bukhari said that heavy snowfall and thunderstorms that hit Kashmir valley has led to the closure of number of roads in far flung and remote areas throwing life out of gear in the valley, including Sangrama, which is covered by a thick layer of snow resulting in uprooting of trees and electric poles at many places.
Bukhari demanded for speedy road clearance of snow bound areas of entire Sangrama and other parts of Valley.
Bukhari has also urged for restoration of electric supply and availability of essentials in the area and repairing of damaged transformers and transmission line
Meanwhile PDP Senior leader Rajz Manzoor has urged the State Government to extend the physical test examination date for those aspirants of Karnah and Keran who failed to reach Kupwara due to heavy snow fall in the area. He also demanded clearance of roads and restoration of electric and other essential supplies in Karnah and adjacent areas.
