Cricket Match Promotes Sportsmanship and Team Spirit at PTTI Vijaypur

VIJAYPUR, Oct 28: The Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) in Vijaypur organized a friendly cricket match between PTTI staff and trainees from various courses, under the supervision of Shiv Kumar-IPS, the Principal of the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur.
The primary objective behind organizing the cricket match was to promote sports activities, enhance physical fitness and endurance, as well as instill a sense of team spirit and sportsmanship among the police personnel. Such activities also serve as a means of stress relief.
Principal PTTI Vijaypur officiated the coin toss, which was won by SI Kapil Raina, the Captain of the Staff Team at PTTI Vijaypur.
The Staff Team batted first, with Sh. Khuswant Singh, DySP (Administration), and Davinder Gupta, DySP (Research and Development) of PTTI Vijaypur, opening the innings and providing a strong start to their team. They set a target of 93 runs in 12 overs for the trainees’ team.
In response, the trainees’ team successfully chased the target and secured a victory by two wickets in the last over. Both teams displayed good cricket on the field, resulting in a closely contested match.
The event was attended by several prominent individuals, including Shri Suram Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Shri Surinder Kumar, Superintendent of Police (SP), Shri Anroop Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP), Shri Mohinder Pal, DySP, Inspector Surinder Pal (CLI), Inspector Vishal Kumar (CDI), Inspector Kanwal Raina, and Inspector Mulkh Raj, among others.
