Samba, Oct 28: SSP Samba Benam Tosh: 191 Vehicles Seized for Illegal Mining in Nine Months
Samba, October 28 - As part of its ongoing efforts to combat illegal mining, the police in Samba district, under the direction of SSP Benam Tosh, has seized an additional six vehicles being used for illegal mining.
The police teams, led by SHO Police Station Ghagwal Bharat Bhushan, Incharge Police Post Supwal PSI Deepika Jalotra, and Incharge Police Post Goran PSI Sajid Jaral, and supervised by DySP Garu Ram, successfully seized these vehicles, which include one JCB bearing registration No. JK21E-3849 and five dumpers with registration Nos. JK08G-3273, JK08D-9373, JK08K-9373, JK21J-7586, and PB35Z-1049.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh highlighted that Samba Police have seized a total of 191 vehicles involved in illegal mining over the past nine months since launching a special drive against illegal mining.
He affirmed that the police would not tolerate illegal mining activities in Samba district and would continue taking stringent actions against those involved in illegal mining operations.
