Traders federation organizes free medical camp

Jammu, Oct 28: The Traders Federation at Ware House Nehru Market in Jammu, in collaboration with Sewa Bharti and the National Medicos Organisation, organized a free medical camp at Ware House. The camp was inaugurated by Sh. Rahul Yadav, Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation and CEO of Smart City Jammu, along with Sh. Deepak Gupta, President of the Traders Federation, and representatives of Sewa Bharti.
The medical camp was staffed by healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, students, and support staff. The medical team included Dr. Vinod Khajuria (Orthopedist), Dr. Akhil Gupta (Orthopedist), Dr. Sanjay Sharma (Surgeon), Dr. Kulwant Singh (President, National Medicos Organisation), as well as pharmacists and support staff. Various medical services were provided to the attendees, including blood pressure monitoring and basic medical examinations. Educational sessions on topics like hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention were also conducted for the visitors.
The camp distributed free medication for various health conditions, including joint pain, cold and cough, rheumatoid arthritis, insomnia, general weakness, scabies, and other chronic illnesses. These medications were distributed to patients as prescribed by the doctors.
Sh. Deepak Gupta expressed his satisfaction with the overwhelming response to the camp. He mentioned that some patients requiring further investigation and specialized treatments would be provided with free treatment at the hospital.
He also announced that the Traders Federation, in collaboration with Sewa Bharti and the National Medicos Organisation, plans to continue organizing such medical camps in the future.
The event saw the presence of various individuals, including Munish Mahajan (Senior Vice President), Vishal Gupta (Federation Secretary), Mr. Ajay Takoo (Health Incharge, Sewa Bharti), as well as students and support staff who contributed to the successful organization of the medical camp.
