GGM Sc College, GCW Gandhi Nagar win Inter-Collegiate Basketball Trophies

JAMMU, Oct 28: Government College of Education, Jammu, recently hosted a two-day inter-collegiate championship for both men and women at MA Stadium, Jammu. The event was organized by Cluster University of Jammu and brought together participants from all the constituent colleges of the university. Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar of CLUJ, graced the event as the chief guest, with Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director of Physical Education and Sports, CLUJ, as the guest of honor. Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director, along with Dr. Deep Kumar Bangotra of GCOE, coordinated the overall event under the supervision of the Director of Physical Education and Sports, CLUJ.
The players displayed great enthusiasm and played the sport in the true spirit of the game. In the men's basketball competition, GGM Science College clinched the overall trophy, defeating Govt. MAM College with a score of 45-30 points. In the women's category, PSPSGCW, Gandhinagar, secured the overall trophy by defeating Govt. SPMR College of Commerce with a score of 4-2 points.
The event saw the presence of various notable individuals, including Ajaz Malik, Physical Director of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, Dr. Roopali Slathia, Physical Director of PSPSGCW, Gandhinagar, and Neenu, Physical Director of Govt. MAM College Jammu. The match officials for the event were Amit Kalsi, Mosmi Verma, Vaneet Pangotra, Rajesh Bandral, and Shivani Sharma.
This championship showcased the talent and sportsmanship of the participants and celebrated their dedication to the game of basketball.
