RAMBAN, Oct 28: Under the guidance of SSP Ramban, Ms. Mohita Sharma-IPS, the Ramban Police organized various events to pay tribute to the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the motherland. These events were organized as part of the 'Police Flag Day Week-2023' and included debates, visits to the villages of martyrs, and a Run for Unity in Ramban District.
In the jurisdiction of Police Sub-Division Gool, a debate competition focused on the 'Role of the police in Nation Building' was organized at Govt. Higher Secondary School Gool. School children, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, actively participated in the competition. Floral tributes were paid to the martyrs for their sacrifices in the line of duty, and prizes were distributed among the participants after the debates. In the villages of Sangaldan and Ramsoo, visits were made to pay homage to the martyrs, and their family members were honored with presents to express gratitude for their sacrifices. Similarly, in Chanderkot, a Run for Unity was organized by the police. Personnel from CAFs (Central Armed Police Forces) and members of civil society participated in the run. The participants were recognized and felicitated for their involvement in this event, which aimed to promote unity and commemorate the sacrifices of martyrs. |
