GDC Ramnagar conducts Quiz Competition

RAMNAGAR, Oct 30: Government Degree College (GDC) Ramnagar, in association with Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and the Debate and Symposium Committee, organized a quiz competition in honor of National Unity Day, celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, on October 30, 2023.
The event was conducted under the guidance and patronage of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, the Principal of GDC Ramnagar. Dr. Mohd. Riaz, Head of the Urdu Department, initiated the program by welcoming all participants and providing a brief overview of the session.
Four teams, named A, B, C, and D, consisting of students from Semesters III and V, enthusiastically participated in the quiz competition. Dr. Divya Puri, the Head of the Psychology Department, prepared and presented the questions for the competition. The students not only gained knowledge but also enjoyed answering the diverse set of questions that were presented to them. The competition consisted of different phases, with the rapid-fire round particularly piquing the interest of both participants and the audience. The quiz competition proved to be an enriching experience for the audience, offering ample opportunities for learning and the exploration of facts and knowledge for the students. Dr. Bhavnaish Chand, the Principal of GDC Ramnagar, announced the results and extended congratulations to the winners. The session concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rashmi Gupta, a faculty member in the Physics Department.
