| Crime review meeting held at DPO Ramban | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 30: MS Mohita Sharma-IPS,SSP Ramban chaired a crime review meeting at District Police office Ramban to review the cases under Investigation in District Ramban.
The meeting was attended by Shri Gourav Mahajan- JKPS Addl. SP Ramban, Shri Om Parkash Dysp Headquarters Ramban, Shri Nihar Ranjan- JKPS SDPO Gool, Shri Ajay Jamwal, SDPO Banihal.
SSP Ramban also took stock of the progress of the various under investigation and under trial cases. She gave on spot directions regarding ensuring the quality of investigation and for ensuring that the cases are rigorously followed at the trial level. She also insisted to conculde the investigation on merits. She also stressed on the use of technological advancements to ensure effective investigation and trial.
Drug related cases were discussed in detail and focuss was given on connecting backward and forward Linkages. Supervisory directions were issued by SSP on spot.``
Apart from this, focus was also given on tracing of missing persons, arresting of absconders ,to keep survillance over mischievous elements in the society. |
