Farewell function honors senior volleyball coach Rajeev Kumar Dogra at SAI training centre, Jammu

JAMMU, Oct 31: The Sports Authority of India (SAI) Training Centre at M.A Stadium in Jammu organized a heartfelt farewell function to bid adieu to Senior Volleyball Coach Rajeev Kumar Dogra, who superannuated on October 31, 2023. The event, held at the office of the newly appointed Assistant Director, Bhanu Pratap Singh, STC Jammu/Incharge J&K (Union Territory), was attended by a gathering of retired SAI coaches, members of the J&K Volleyball Association, including the CEO and secretary, and other well-wishers.
Rajeev Kumar Dogra, fondly known as Rajeev Kumar Dogra Ji, dedicated approximately 31 years of his life in the service of sports, including stints in Srinagar. His profound contributions played a foundational role in the promotion of sports in the Jammu and Kashmir region, with a particular focus on the rise of volleyball.
The entire SAI Training Centre family in Jammu expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Rajeev Kumar Dogra for his prestigious contributions and unwavering commitment to the world of sports.
