JAMMU, Oct 31: Live for Others - Being Helpful Foundation proudly announces a significant achievement in their joint initiative with J&K Bank, "Mission R-SAP (Remove Shyness Apply Pads)." This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project is dedicated to enhancing menstrual hygiene by distributing 500,000 sanitary napkins and conducting 100 awareness seminars, ultimately benefitting 50,000 individuals across all 20 districts of Jammu & Kashmir, while also challenging taboos associated with menstruation.
The second district to successfully complete this mission is Poonch, where more than 25,000 sanitary napkins were distributed alongside six impactful awareness lectures, reaching over 2,500 people. Iream served as the resource person for these seminars, which were hosted in government schools and colleges located in peripheral areas, including Govt. Higher Secondary School, Mendhar; CDPO Office, Mendhar; Govt. Higher Secondary School, Herni; Govt. Higher Secondary School, Chatral; and Shri. Chotey Shah Govt. Degree College, Mendhar; St. Francis Convent School.
