DPS students Musa, Vanya excel in division level swimming competition

Jammu, Oct 31 : Musa Pervaiz Malik, a student in the eighth grade at Delhi Public School Jammu, has achieved a remarkable feat by clinching two gold medals in the 50 meters and 100 meters freestyle events at the Division Level Swimming Competition. The competition was organized by the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports from October 25 to 27, 2023. Musa competed in the U-14 age category and has earned a spot in the upcoming national-level swimming competition scheduled for November 2023 in Haryana. Additionally, Vanya Mengi, a student in the twelfth grade at DPS Jammu, secured a silver medal in the 100 meters freestyle event during the same competition. The achievements of Musa and Vanya have brought honor to their school, their parents, and themselves. The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including Hon’ble President-RCT Sh. M.K Ajatshatru Singh, distinguished PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, Hon’ble Director-Sh. S.S Sodhi, along with Principal-DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Musa, Vanya, and their parents for their outstanding accomplishments.
