IRP-19th Battalion organizes Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Kathua, Oct 31: The Indian Reserve Police organized a Rashtriya Ekta Diwas event to celebrate National Unity Day-2023 at the IRP-19th battalion headquarters in Kathua. Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma-IPS, Commandant, administered the pledge of unity, integrity, and security to the officers and Jawans. In addition to the main ceremony at Battalion Headquarters Kathua, pledge-taking ceremonies were also organized at all Company Headquarters, with a large number of officers and lower subordinates participating.
At the beginning of the program, Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma paid tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his birth anniversary, recognizing his supreme patriotism, iron will, and courage of conviction. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played a vital role in the Indian freedom struggle and the unification of States, earning him the title of the ‘Iron Man of India.’ The celebration of this day aims to raise awareness about the importance of staying together and uplifting society.
Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma emphasized the significance of the pledge taken, stating that officials have solemnly pledged to dedicate themselves to preserving the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. They also pledged to work hard to spread this message among fellow countrymen. Officials resolved to make their own contribution to ensuring the internal security of the country. Dr. Koshal Kumar Sharma encouraged the officers and officials to work diligently towards preserving the unity and integrity of the nation with great determination.
