Ch. Manmohan honored at Annual Day function of Jat Sansar Patrika

Jammu, Oct 31: Ch. Manmohan Singh, President of All India Jat Maha Sabha, J&K, and former Mayor of Jammu, was honored at the 3rd annual day function of Jat Sansar Patrika in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The event brought together members of the Jat community from various parts of the country, emphasizing the unity and spirit of the community.
The event began with the ceremonial lighting of a lamp by Ch. Manmohan Singh, who served as the chief guest. A special segment of the event was dedicated to recognizing esteemed members of the Jat community, including women who have made distinguished contributions in various fields. Mementos were presented to them in acknowledgment of their achievements.
Ch. Manmohan Singh was also honored by the participants for his distinguished services to the community. In his address, he commended Anag Pal Rathi and his dedicated team for publishing the community magazine for three successive years. He praised the honored members of the Jat community and emphasized the crucial role played by women in Jat society. He encouraged community women to take the lead in addressing drug-related issues in society.
Ch. Manmohan Singh urged the Jat community to unite for their rights, emphasizing the challenges they face, including discrimination, unemployment, and poverty. He called on the Jats to come together and advocate for their rights.
Singh noted that although the Jats are one of the largest communities in India, they still do not receive their fair share of resources and opportunities. They face discrimination in education, employment, and government programs, leading to high rates of unemployment and poverty.
Singh urged the community to unite and fight for their rights, calling on the government to provide the Jats with equal opportunities and resources. Anag Pal Rathi, Editor in Chief of Jat Sansar Patrika, highlighted the publication’s three-year journey and its impact on the community. He expressed his gratitude to Ch. Manmohan Singh, describing him as a “strong pillar of the community” for his tireless work and commitment to addressing community-related challenges. Mohan Singh Bhatti, Chairman of the Border Kissan Union, Jammu, was also present at the event.
