JSS Kathua tops wall painting competition in "Swachhata hi Sewa" campaign

KATHUA, Nov 2: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua recently clinched the first position in the Wall Painting Competition organized as part of the "Swachhata hi Sewa" campaign. The school's exceptional achievement not only highlights its commitment to excellence but also underscores its dedication to promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
In a remarkable demonstration of creativity and a strong message of environmental responsibility, Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua secured the coveted first position in the Wall Painting Competition held as part of the "Swachhata hi Sewa" campaign. The competition was organized under the guidance of the worthy Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, Rakesh Minhas (IAS), and saw enthusiastic participation from students and mentors of both government and private schools in District Kathua.
A total of 32 schools from four different zones participated in this competition, and each team was given seven days to complete their artwork. The competition commenced on September 25th and concluded on September 30th, 2023. The students, guided by their mentor, Mukesh, PGT Painting, unleashed their creative talents to transform blank walls into vibrant canvases promoting cleanliness and environmental responsibility.
The paintings not only served as a spectacular display of creativity but also carried a potent message, infusing the youth with a sense of responsibility towards their environment. This powerful visual display was accomplished by the talented Sanskritians under the mentorship of Mr. Mukesh, PGT (Fine Arts).
Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua's commitment to winning the first position in this competition showcases its unwavering dedication to promoting cleanliness and environmental awareness among its students. This remarkable achievement is a source of pride not only for the school but also for the entire Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua family, including the students, teachers, and staff.
The students and their mentor, Mr. Mukesh, PGT Painting, received a well-deserved cash prize of Rs 3000/- for their outstanding performance in the competition. This recognition further highlights the school's continuous efforts to nurture young talents and instill in them a sense of responsibility for a cleaner and greener future.
