RAJASTHAN, Nov 4: In a political gathering in Sikrai, Rajasthan, Kavinder Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, predicted the impending disintegration of the I.N.D.I.A Bloc, an alliance of various political parties. He emphasized that the alliance's life is short-lived, with its constituent parties set to contest elections separately during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Gupta's comments were made in response to a statement by Omar Abdullah, a member of the I.N.D.I.A Bloc Coordination Committee, in which Omar expressed satisfaction that the alliance's decision to boycott certain television anchors had met its natural end. Gupta interpreted Omar's stance as a testament to the deep divisions within the alliance, suggesting that the I.N.D.I.A Bloc's days are numbered and that it will not survive into 2024.
Gupta urged BJP cadre members to remain composed and focused, emphasizing the pivotal role of ground-level workers in securing victory for BJP candidates in Rajasthan. He called on party workers to engage with the public and convey that only the BJP has the potential to address the challenges created by the current Congress-led government effectively.
