| Warrant of two drug peddlers booked under PIT NDPS case executed by police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 4: An information was received through reliable sources at PS R.S Pura regarding two notorious drug peddlers namely Rakesh Kumar @ Rocky S/o Jameet Raj R/o R.S Pura and Deepak Gupta S/o Vijay Gupta R/o R.S Pura. On this a special police team of PS R.S Pura constituted under the supervision of SDPO R.S Pura Nikhil Gogna was constituted. The team led by SHO PS R.S Pura Inspr Pawan Kumar reached on the suspected place and arrested the above said drug peddlers. The said persons have been booked under PIT NDPS under the order passed by Divisional Commissioner Jammu for their repeated involvement in drugs Peddling cases vide order No. PITNDPS 55 of 2023 dated 03.11.2023 and 54 of 2023 dated 03.11.2023 issued under endorsement no. 601/RA/Detention/136/CC-7327725 dated 03.11.2023 and 601/RA/Detention/133/CC-7327777 dated 03.11.2023. The arrests were made under the supervision of SP Hqrs Ramnish Gupta. Finally today in compliance to the directions by Divisional Commissioner Jammu under Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1988 (PITNDPS) detention warrant was executed and the said accused persons were shifted to Central Jail Kathua after completion of all legal formalities. |
