| 7 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 4: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Akhnoor, PP Pallanwala, PP Pargwal and PP Chatha acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 07 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
02 vehicles i.e one Tipper bearing Registration No. JK20B 6723 and one JCB without Registration No by PS Akhnoor
Three Tractors i.e 02 Tractor bearing Registration Nos JK02BS-9601, JK02U-0892 and another Tractor bearing Chassis No 803505937150893D, by PP Pallanwala.
One JCB bearing Chassis No 1269494A2008, by PP Pargwal.
One Dumper bearing Registration No JK02CX-2669, by PP Chatha.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq, I/C PP Pallanwala ASI Raj Singh, I/C PP Pargwal PSI Deep Kumar and I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
