| Deputations meet CM | | Work on Machail, Lagri roads in Paddar to start soon: Omar | | Early Times Report Jammu, February 07 – A deputation of Paddar area led by MLA, Kishtwar, Mr. Sajad Ahmad Kitchloo called on Chief Minister, Mr. Omar Abdullah, here today. They demanded execution of work on Karthai power project, construction of Machail and Lagri roads under PMGSY, plying of bus service of the interior roads, weekly helicopter service to Paddar, a degree college, a sub-district hospital and an ITI in the Paddar area. The Chief Minister giving patient hearing to the deputation, said that work on Machail and Lagri roads in Paddar area would be launched soon. He said the other demands of the people would also be looked into and considered sympathetically. The MLA, Karnah, Mr. Kafeel-ur-Rehman called on Chief Minster and discussed with him matters pertaining to the development of Karnah constituency. He brought to the notice of Chief Minister the problems resulted out of the recent heavy snowfall in his constituency and requested airlifting of stranded people at Kupwara to Karnah. A deputation of Youth National Conference from Jammu led by Mr. S. S. Bunty and Mr. Ayoub Malik also met the Chief Minister and presented him a memorandum of demands. These include creation of employment opportunities for youth and upgradation of civic amenities. Yet another deputation from Ganderbal in its meeting with the Chief Minister, highlighted the development demands of the area. The Chief Minister assured them that the Government would make every effort to rope in industrial houses in the State to create greater avenues for employment. He said that development demands of all the areas were being actively considered for realizing in a phased manner.
