| GDC Vijaypur hosts Career Guidance Awareness Program | | | Early Times Report
VIJAYPUR, Nov 6: The Career Counselling Cell of Government Degree College, Vijaypur, in collaboration with the NSS Unit (KHIDMAT) of the college, organized a one-day workshop and awareness program on "Career Guidance" in partnership with Wings-Ek Udaan Institute. The event witnessed active participation from NSS volunteers and other college students who showed great interest and enthusiasm.
The Wings-Ek Udaan team provided valuable insights to the students about various government-sponsored self-employment schemes. They delivered a talk on how individuals can prepare for various competitive exams and shared strategies for success in these examinations. The session was followed by a question and answer segment, allowing students to seek further guidance.
Dr. Vandana Gupta, the Principal of the College, expressed her appreciation for the Wings-Ek Udaan Team in Vijaypur for guiding students on self-employment opportunities. She also expressed hope that the department would continue to host similar programs in the near future. The proceedings of the program were overseen by Prof. Ritu Bhagat, the Convenor of the Career Counselling Cell.
The program was coordinated by Prof. Poonam Kundan, the Convenor of the Cultural Committee, and Dr. Naseem Chowdhary, NSS Program Officer (PO). It was co-coordinated by Dr. Gunjeet Mahiwal, Lecturer in Education. This initiative aimed to provide students with essential guidance and insights into potential career paths and self-employment opportunities. |
