Government SPMR College of Commerce, GGM Science College Triumph in Inter-Collegiate Judo Competitions

JAMMU, Nov 6: Government SPMR College of Commerce secured victory in the Judo Men category, while GGM Science College emerged triumphant in the Judo Women category during the Inter-Collegiate Judo competitions organized by the Cluster University of Jammu. The event took place at Government SPMR College of Commerce.
Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Registrar of the Cluster University of Jammu, graced the event as the Chief Guest, and Sh. Ranvijay Singh, Dean of Student Welfare at the Cluster University of Jammu, was the Guest of Honor. Dr. Surinder Sharma, Principal of SPMR College of Commerce, was also present during the occasion.
The tournament was conducted under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director of Sports at the Cluster University of Jammu, and the Physical Director of GGM Science College, under the guidance of Sh. Aijaz Malik, the Physical Director of SPMR College of Commerce.
In the Men's section, Government SPMR College of Commerce secured the trophy with 25 points, while Government MAM College was the runner-up with 16 points.
In the Women's section, GGM Science College claimed the trophy with 18 points, and Government SPMR College of Commerce secured the runner-up position with 13 points.
Several dignitaries were present during the occasion, including Dr. Shafkat Jahangir, Prof. Pawan Gupta, Prof. Savita Jamwal, Prof. Apfan Ali from SPMR College of Commerce, Neenu Sawhney, the Physical Director of Government MAM College, and Ramandeep Kralia, the Physical Director of GCOE Jammu.
