JAMMU, Nov 6: Students from Delhi Public School Jammu exhibited their exceptional karate skills by securing gold and bronze medals in the District Karate Championship.
Ananya Gupta, a student from Class V, made her school and parents proud by clinching the gold medal in the U-10 age category at the Open Jammu District Karate Championship. The event was organized by the Karate Association of Jammu & Kashmir and took place at the Sports Complex in Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu on October 11, 2023.
Aryan Mathur from Class V and Rishit Basson from Class IV-J also delivered outstanding performances by winning gold and bronze medals, respectively, at the Jammu District Karate Championship held at Talab Tillo, Jammu on October 9, 2023.
The management of DPS Jammu, including the President, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, the distinguished PVC, Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh, and the Director, S.S Sodhi, along with the school's Principal, Ruchi Chabra, and the faculty, extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the medalists, their parents, and coach Suresh Kumar for their remarkable achievements. They also wished the young talents continued success in all their future endeavors.
