| AV Gupta seeks support of Jammu based MLAs | | |

A.V Gupta, senior advocate and former president of Bar association of Jammu have urged upon the MLA’s particularly of Jammu region, while voting for Rajya Sabha seat keep in mind their commitment to Jammu people.
Addressing media parsons he said, it is a test of the commitment made with the people of Jammu region, as some of the MLA’s have been once again returned by the people for the cause and as such they should vote for Gupta, as he is contesting as an independent candidate.
Gupata said, the circumstance which compels to contest for Rajya Sabha was due to negative attitude shown by main political parties of the state for not fielding any candidate from Jammu region, He said, filing of nomination papers required ten members of the legislature as proposes under law. And as India MLA’s belonging of BJP showed enough political maturity and propose my name, though I am not even a primary member of he party. Now I hope that MLA’s at the time of voting will in my far our and give chance to serve Jammu people in Rajya Sabha.
