| SSH says project at slow pace | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Feb:8 The work in the execution of laying of trunk sewer lines from DC office to 2nd Tawi bridge at Gujjar Nagar by NBCC agency under JNNURM scheme is going at a slow pace, said Shiv Sena Hindustan ( SSH) president Dimple Kohli at a meeting held here today. He said due to digging of roads, people are facing lot of problems. He further said the company which is executing the work has sub lot to some other private firm with the full convince of the higher upon in the administration, besides sub-standard material is also used while lying sewerage pipes. He said the chief minister Omar Abdullah to look into the matter and hand over case to CBI to probe the all loop hopes. Rakesh Kak, senior leader of the party in his address said, that road has sunk at various places after repair, due to use of sub-standard material. He said a senior officer had also complained to higher up with regard to lying of pipes, the matter at an earliest and save money from misusing by corrupt officials etc. Among others present in the meeting were Vikas Dewan, Rajan Gupta, Shiv Kumar. Rajiv Mahajan, Sanjeev, H.N.Sharma and S.S Manhas.
