Batwal community demands representation in legislature

Jammu, Feb 8- Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association in an annual meeting held at village Chak Mohd Yar, RS Pura under the chairmanship of its President Romesh Lal Mottan discussed various problems confronting the community.
Addressing the meeting Mottan has called upon the community members to maintain
unity at all levels and work towards providing better education to the youth enabling
them to compete in professional courses for better tomorrow.
Hari Chand Pargotra vice president appealed to Dr. Farooq Abudllah president NC
and Chief Minister Omar Abudllah for proper representation to the community in the
state legislature as also in the cabinet.
The meeting was among others attended by Through Ram, Laju Ram Kaith, Amarnath
Lakhotra, Bihari Lal Sundha, Sat Pal, Bachan Lal, Ram Chand, Jagdish Raj, and Dharam
Pal Lakhotra,
