| Samba administration celebrates Deepawali with BSF jawans on border posts | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Nov 13: The District Administration Samba, led by Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, celebrated the auspicious occasion of Deepawali with the BSF jawans on the border posts along the International border(IB) of District Samba on Sunday.
The ADC Samba Suresh Sharma, accompanied by Tehsildar Ramgarh Abhimanyu Kalsotra and Tehsildar Samba Shabir Ahmed and Tehsildar Rajpura Subash Kumar, distributed sweets and greeted the jawans with warm wishes. They also interacted with the jawans and appreciated their dedication and bravery in guarding the nation's borders.
Speaking on the occasion,ADC Samba lauded the soldiers for their penance and sacrifice. He stated that Administration and defence forces are part of one family. He also assured them of the administration's support and cooperation in addressing their issues.
The jawans expressed their gratitude to the Administration for their gesture of solidarity and goodwill. They also thanked the administration for providing them with support whenever required.
Samba Administration has been actively involved in organising various welfare and development activities for the people of the district, especially in the border areas of the District. |
