Vishwakarma Day celebrated with grandeur, dignitaries in Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 13: The auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Day was celebrated with traditional fervor and enthusiasm at Vishwakarma Sabha, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu on Monday, November 13, 2023. The day-long celebration of VISHWAKARMA POOJA DIWAS commenced with a Hawan, drawing participants from the Vishwakarma Community and various sections of society.
The event, organized by Vishwakarma Sabha at the Temple Complex, Vishwakarma Chowk, Bakshi Nagar, witnessed the gracious presence of special guests, including MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Ex Mayor Jammu Chander Mohan Gupta, Ex Minister Sat Sharma (CA), Ex Vice Chairman OBC Rashpal Verma, Ex. Vice Chairman (OBC) Kuldeep Raj Verma, Gourav Chopra, Corporator Ward No. 28, Surinder Singh, Corporator Ward No. 29, Th. Manmohan Singh, President Trader Association, Shakti Nagar, Jammu, Shashi Verma, President Pradesh Vishwakarma Sabha, Team Jammu Chairman Jorawar Singh Jamwal, and other dignitaries, who extended warm greetings to the Vishwakarma Community.
The guests shared insights into the life of Lord Vishwakarma, praising the Sabha's efforts in organizing the function. They expressed assurance of continued support for genuine causes of the Vishwakarma Community. Rakesh Chalotra, President, and Jagdish Kargotra, General Secretary of the Sabha, illuminated the significance of Lord Vishwakarma as the Creator and Master Architect of the Universe. Both expressed gratitude to the Hon'ble Guests and the social gathering present at the religious function.
Prominent personalities who participated in the program included Lakhpat Rai (Chairman of Sabha), Inderjeet Dhiman (Vice Chairman), Rajinder Verma, Rattan Lal Changotra, Ashok Kumar, Om Parkash, Sanjay Kumar, Ajay Chalotra, Romesh Lal, Pawan Salgotra, Vinod Jaral, Naresh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Vijay Kumar, Neelam Mahotra, Sanjay Sagar, and Tarsem Lal. The event marked a celebration of cultural richness and community spirit, reinforcing the bonds of tradition and unity among the Vishwakarma community in Jammu.
