| Police recover 130 bottles of illicit liquor at Bus Stand | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 13: Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 130 bottles of illicit liquor in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bus stand.
An information was received at PS Bus Stand regarding one bootlegger carrying illicit liquor for sale in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bus stand.
After this special police teams of PS Bus stand led by SDPO North Sunil Kumar Kesar assisted by SHO PS Bus stand Inspr Sudhir Sadotra raided at the suspected location in the jurisdiction of PS Bus stand and rounded up a suspected person who was coming from Jewal towards Rehari via BC road Jammu. During search, 130 bottles of illicit liquor of 180 ml each got recovered from his possession.
In this regard, case FIR No.64/2023 u/s 48(a) Excise Act has been registered at PS Bus Stand and accused person got arrested. The accused person was later identified as Ved Parkash S/O Tara Mani R/O Jandrah Tehsil Dansal District Jammu.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
