| Six gamblers arrested, stake money Rs 20000 recovered by police | | |

Jammu, Nov 13: In an act of alertness and prompt action, police team of PS Khour headed by SHO PS Khour Inspr Ravi Kant while on patrolling duty near village Pangali received an information regarding some persons gambling in the shop of Karan Singh S/o Chell Singh R/o Pangali in the area under jurisdiction of PS Khour.
On this police teams raided at the said place and caught six gamblers along with Rs 20000/- of stake money.
On this, a case under section 13 of Gambling Act got registered at PS Khour and accused got arrested. The accused arrested have been identified as:
01. Karan Singh S/O Udham Singh R/O Pangali
2. Swarn Singh S/O Chell Singh R/O Pangali
3. Pawan Singh S/O Chell Singh R/O Pangali
4. Tarsem Singh S/O Uttam Singh R/O Pangali
5. Karan Singh S/O Chell Singh R/O Pangali
6. Vijay Singh S/O Wajir Singh R/O Khour
All of Tehsil Khour District Jammu
The overall arrests and recoveries were made under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Mohan Sharma.
Further investigation of the case is going on. |
