| Notorious drug peddler detained under PIT NDPS | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 13: An information was received at PP Chatha through reliable sources regarding one notorious Drug Peddler namely Bikramjeet Singh @Vicky S/O Ujjagar Singh R/O Bhour Camp, Satwari. On this a special police team of PP Chatha led by SDPO South Sachit Sharma assisted by SHO PS Satwari Inspr Sumeet Sharma and I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh raided at the suspected place and detained the above said drug peddler.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused person was a notorious criminal and was involved in many cases of drug peddling and dealing in narcotics. Also a warrant of arrest vide Order No. PITNDPS 57 of 2023 dated 10.11.2023 was issued against the said accused by Divisional commissioner Jammu.
Finally today in compliance to the directions of Divisonal commissioner Jammu, under Prevention of Illicit Traffic of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act of 1988 (PITNDPS) the accused person has been detained and shifted to District Jail Kathua. |
