JAMMU, Nov 14: In an effort to enhance and maintain the efficiency of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Sitlee water treatment plant, essential repair and maintenance work is scheduled to take place on the Sitlee Manda 500 mm dia Rising Mains. As a result, water supply to Manda Reservoirs will be partially affected on 16th and 17th November 2023.
Affected Areas: Panjtirth, Karan Nagar, Rehari, Jain Bazar, Moti Bazar, Pacca Danga, Link Road Afghan Mohalla, Dogra Hall, Kachi Chowni, Ustad Mohalla and adjoining areas
Duration of Disruption: 16th November 2023 and 17th November 2023
During this period, residents and businesses in the mentioned areas are advised to use water judiciously to minimize inconvenience. The Public Health Engineering department regrets any inconvenience caused by this essential maintenance work and assures the public that every effort will be made to complete the repairs promptly.
