Jammu, Nov 14: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Akhnoor, PS Khour and PP Pouni Chak acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 06 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
Two Tractor Trollies bearing Registration Nos JK02CU-3558 and JK02DF-0149, by PS Akhnoor.
03 Tractor Trollies without Registration Nos, PS Khour.
01 Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No MZZDR1024080S3, by PP Pouni Chak.
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq, SHO PS Khour Inspr Ravi Kant and I/C PP Pouni Chak SI Ashish Sharma in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
