| PDP demands posting of Gynecologist to Thathri hospital | | | Early Times Report Doda, Feb 9- Expressing concern over deplorable conditions of health centres in the remote areas, youth wing president of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Inderwal Talib Hussain has demanded appointment of gynecologist at government hospital Thathri, besides opening of ISM dispensaries at Badance, Phagsoo, Nanaha and Kathi villages as inhabitants of these villages have to cover a long distance to reach to nearby PHCs. Pointing towards problems being faced by the students of this area, PDP leader demanded opening of Degree College and ITI College at Thathri. He said that students of this belt have to either go to Kishtwar or Bhaderwah for higher studies. He further asked the government to ensure supply of essential commodities at remote areas after movement of vehicular traffic has been stopped at Assar after sinking of a part of Batote-Kishtwar national highway.
