Jammu, Feb 9-Lt Gen TK Sapru, GOC-in-C, Western Command arrived in Jammu today on a 2-day official visit. The Army Commander was accompanied by GOC, Rising Star Corps.
On arrival, the Army Commander was received by GOC, Tiger Division at Tiger Helipad and briefed about the prevailing situation. The Army Commander is likely to have an informal meet with senior civil servants of J&K later in the evening.
The Army Commander is also scheduled to meet NN Vohra, Governor and interact with Senior Commanders of Tiger Division.
