Rekha raises public grievances with CAPD Director

JAMMU, Nov 20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to mark the "Booth Jan Abhiyan" reaching out to the massive public outreach program in Jammu South under the leadership of BJP District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan directly connected with the general masses of all domains of society seeking feedback from the local inhabitants about public issues in context with District President Rekha Mahajan puts forward public issues with Director FCS & CA Jammu Rifat Kohli.
Rekha Mahajan was accompanied by District Vice President Shallu Gupta and Narinder Gupta, District Secretaries Rohiin Chandan and Pummy Choudhary, Gandhi Nagar Mandal President Bharat Bhushan, and Daljeet Singh. During the discussion, Rekha Mahajan submitted a memorandum about the dilemmas and problems being faced by the general public of Jammu South to the Director FCS & CA Rifat Kohli. Rekha enlightened many genuine public grievances and urged the Director to look into the important matter on a priority basis. Rekha Mahajan stresses that upon mitigating the sufferings of ration card holders, CAPD authorities to adopt a consumer-friendly approach to ration distribution and ensure that genuine complaints of the people are met in a time-bound manner. She said since the time new ration card tickets were being issued, consumers have been facing a lot of problems and a good number of people are coming with complaints of non-issuance of ration cards. She advised the CAPD authorities should conduct awareness and information dissemination camps before getting the new forms filled out to minimize errors in the forms.
Director FCS & CA Jammu Rifat Kohli patiently gave attention to the issues and directed the CAPD officials to look into the matter on an important basis personally communicate with the common masses and hold awareness camps for the public. Outlining the e-transformation in Jammu and Kashmir, Rifat Kohli said the new mode of digital governance has helped in streaming the center's efforts on the ground level for all segments of society in J&K for holistic transformation and streamlining of the public distribution system. Rekha Mahajan also discussed in length people's problems and thanked Rifat Kholi for considering the genuine demands of the public as a priority.
