JAMMU, Nov 20: As part of the ongoing Constitution Day celebrations, Government Degree College (GDC) Sidhra organized an insightful Awareness Lecture on "Mental Health" under the auspices of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The lecture was delivered by Prof. Deepa Kak, Head of the Department of Education at GDC Sidhra.
Prof. Deepa Kak engaged students in an informative session, shedding light on the essence and significance of mental health. She emphasized that mental health is an integral component of overall health and well-being, playing a crucial role in individual and collective decision-making abilities. Prof. Kak highlighted the importance of maintaining good mental health to effectively cope with the stresses of life.
