JU NSS volunteers win accolades at 3 National Integration Camps

Jammu, Feb10-The National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers from the Colleges of the University of Jammu have won accolades at three National Integration Camps (NIC) held in Banaras Hindu University, Banaras, Jamia Millia, Delhi and Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. The team returned to Jammu yesterday.
The volunteers excelled in skit, group discussions and debate competitions. They presented the culture of Jammu and Kashmir to the volunteers from the outside the state. The NSS volunteers brought more laurels to the University of Jammu as ten volunteers from the University were selected as Campus Ambassador for Peace by the International president of the Youth Federation for World Peace.
The Federation appoints only those youth who dedicate themselves to practices which promote universal moral values, inter-religious cooperation, international harmony, renewal of the United Nations and establishment of a culture of peace.
The Federation plans to hold Youth Convention in collaboration with NSS, University of Jammu in near future.
