JAMMU, SEPTEMBER 20 - Department of Horticulture is providing services to the public in general and growers in particular in processing of their surplus fruits and vegetables at Fruit and Vegetable Craft Centre Chand Nagar, below Gumat, Jammu. At present bulk of different kinds of fruits and vegetables are available in the market and needs immediate utilization/disposal of these perishable items. It is, therefore opportune time to get these items processed in different products viz. Juices, Squashes, Jams, Jellies, Marmalades, Syrups, Cordials, Nectars, Murabbas, Sauces, Canned fruit and vegetables etc at very nominal charges from our centre.
