Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra commences in Reasi

REASI, Nov 25: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was inaugurated in the Reasi district under the leadership of District Development Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan.
The event, hosted at Panchayat Mari-A, Block Reasi, unfolded a series of impactful activities, reaffirming the commitment of the Government towards rural development.
The program commenced with resonant messages from the Prime Minister, establishing a collective pledge for Viksit Bharat.
The celebration was further adorned with cultural performances that vividly showcased the rich diversity and spirit of the local communities.
A significant highlight of the event was the “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani” felicitation ceremony, where beneficiaries of various schemes shared firsthand experiences.
This interactive session served as a platform for individuals to express the tangible positive impact of government initiatives on their lives.
The gathering witnessed active participation from Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), local residents, beneficiaries, and key officials, including the Additional Deputy Commissioner Abdul Star, Assistant Commissioner of Panchayat (ACP), Additional Collector Revenue, Sub-Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildar, and Block Development Officers.
During the programme DDC has also interacted with village resource persons who are pivotal for ensuring quality work under MGNREGA, SBM and PMAY (G) in the village/panchayat.
Addressing the audience, DDC Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan, reiterated his commitment to fostering sustainable development in the region.
He underscored the pivotal role of community involvement and various stakeholders in realizing the vision of a prosperous and empowered rural India.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is poised to embark on a transformative journey, engaging with local communities to discern their unique needs and aspirations. Through collaborative efforts, the initiative aims to catalyze comprehensive development across healthcare, education, infrastructure, and overall well-being.
