MIER College of Education receives prestigious award from Directorate of Ayush

Jammu, Nov 18: MIER College of Education proudly announces that its Extension Unit has been bestowed with a prestigious award by the Directorate of Ayush, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The award was presented by Dr. Mohan Singh, Director, Ayush, in a distinguished ceremony attended by eminent officials from the Ayush Department on November 18, 2023. This recognition underscores the college’s steadfast commitment to social service, community outreach, and making a meaningful impact on the lives of the local communities.
The Extension Unit of MIER College of Education has played a pivotal role in organizing a myriad of initiatives, including workshops, health camps, and awareness drives. These efforts are aimed at empowering the community with knowledge and fostering positive behavioral changes. Dr. Vandana Dogra, Medical Superintendent of Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu, commended the college’s endeavors in conducting extension and outreach activities that have significantly contributed to educating the public about sanitation, hygiene, and nutrition.
