RS PURA, Nov 25: In a commendable initiative, NCC Boys Cadets and NSS Volunteers of Government Degree College, R.S. Under the able guidance of the esteemed Principal, Dr. Rajni Bhagat, and the supervision of Dr. Chanchal Angral, NSS PO, and Lt. Rakesh Choudhary, the event aimed to raise awareness about the significance of ponds and wells in the villages and their critical role in sustaining a healthy eco-system.
Participation was robust, with 50 NCC Cadets and NSS Volunteers actively engaging in the rally. The procession meandered through the market and surrounding areas of R.S. Pura, reaching out to the local populace to disseminate information about the diminishing number of water bodies in the region and the urgent need to uphold their cleanliness.
During the rally, the cadets and volunteers initiated conversations with locals, shedding light on the dwindling numbers of ponds and wells in R.S. Pura. They emphatically stressed the necessity of preserving and maintaining the existing water bodies to ensure a sustainable and healthy environment.
