Advisor Bhatnagar addresses first Orthodontic Symposium at Jammu

JAMMU, Nov 25: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today addressed the first J&K Orthodontic Symposium at Radisson Blu here.
The Symposium was organised by Indian Orthodontic Society in collaboration with Jammu Orthodontic Study Group and Indira Gandhi Dental College Jammu.
Addressing the gathering, Advisor Bhatnagar said the present LG led Administration has prioritised the health sector in UT of Jammu and Kashmir and significant strides have been made in the last few years with the establishment of world class infrastructure. He highlighted that seven new medical colleges, two AIIMS, State Cancer institutes and other advanced health care facilities have been established here to provide state of art medical facilities to the public.
Highlighting on the significance of this symposium, Advisor Bhatnagar remarked that this gathering will provide a significant platform for the orthodontists and healthcare professionals to delve into the latest advancements and best practices in orthodontics. He added that orthodontics have pivotal role in enhancing oral health and its broader impact on overall well-being of any individual.
The Advisor in his address also upon the participants to stay abreast of advancements in dental sciences to ensure the delivery of high-quality dental services.
During the symposium, the Advisor also released the Souvenir of J&K Orthodontic Society and also inaugurated the fair of dental equipments and other related medicines.
The J&K Orthodontic Symposium marked a significant milestone in the regional dental landscape, providing a forum for practitioners to enhance their skills, share experiences, and build a network of support. The symposium provided a platform for participants to engage in discussions, exchange knowledge, and foster collaborations.
